Player Protection
Keeping play in your control
Mont-Tremblant Casino treats gambling as entertainment that should stay fun and affordable. Every account comes with a full range of protection tools, and we step in when signs show that play is causing harm.
Our team keeps an eye on signs of harm: deposits that rise again and again, attempts to win back losses, or very long sessions. If we spot a pattern like this, we might email you, recommend a limit or place your account on pause until we have discussed it together.
Protecting minors
Only players aged 19 or over can open an account. We confirm age before accepting a first deposit, and we close any account belonging to a person under 19. Our Age Policy explains these checks in full and includes practical tips for parents.
Finding free support
Confidential help is available at no cost from independent organizations:
- YMCA Youth Gambling Awareness Program
- Kindbridge Behavioral Health
- ConnexOntario
- Gambling Therapy
Closing your account is not required before you ask for help. We can also direct you to these services by email.
Using your protection tools
Every tool described here is available under Settings in your account. Would you like a hand? Contact support by email and we will activate it for you.
Limits on deposits, wagers and stakes
You can choose from three limits: a deposit cap, a ceiling on total wagering and a maximum size for any one bet. After you reach a limit, that activity stays unavailable until the next limit period begins.
Reality checks
An on-screen reminder appears as a reality check, displaying the duration of your current session plus your net result. You can then carry on or end the session.
Time alerts
Time alerts notify you once a session hits the length you set, so long sessions do not pass without notice.
Take a break
Want some distance from gambling? Ask us for a timeout and decide how long it lasts: 24 hours at minimum, six weeks at most. For the full duration, your account stays closed to you, which means no deposits, no bets and no marketing emails from us. Once the break ends, you get complete access back.
Self-exclusion
Self-exclusion is for longer breaks when gambling has become a problem. We block the account for the period you choose, remove you from Promotions and VIP mailings, and do not reopen it early.
Account closure
Prefer to stop altogether? We can close your account at your request. Before closure, we send any balance you can withdraw to an approved payment method.
Verification and location checks
We confirm your identity and use geolocation to check that our service is allowed in your location before any deposit is accepted. This stops minors and players in excluded areas from playing real-money games.
Changing your limits
Reduce a limit and the change is instant. Increase one and the new figure starts 24 hours later, so you get time to rethink. Until then, your current limit keeps working.
Checking your habits
Completing the self-assessment quiz is quick, usually a few minutes. Short questions ask about your playing habits, such as whether you spend money set aside for bills or feel restless once you stop. Only you see your answers. If your result suggests risk, think about setting a limit, pausing your play or contacting any support service named above.
Warning signs worth noticing:
- Spending more than you planned
- Hiding play from family or friends
- Borrowing to gamble or to cover losses
- Playing to escape stress or low mood
